Merve Ceren Çırağ

Merve Ceren Çırağ graduated with honours from Istanbul Bilgi University’s English-medium undergraduate Psychology programme in 2026. Her undergraduate thesis examined the relationships between positive childhood experiences, attachment, and partner dependency in romantic relationships. She served as a research assistant at the Istanbul Bilgi University Psychological Counseling Center and gained internship experience at Surp Pırgiç Armenian Hospital, the Prof. Dr. Bengi Semerci Institute, and a private healthcare practice. As part of her professional development, she has undertaken training in the MOXO Attention Test, the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), children’s drawing analysis, and the MOXO360 Advanced Supervision Programme. Her current academic interests centre on neuropsychology, brain–behaviour relationships, attention, memory, and executive functions, with a particular interest in the cognitive dimensions of neurological and psychiatric disorders. Combining her experience in psychology content development with science communication, Çırağ contributes articles to Psychology Times. Her writing draws on current research to communicate psychological and neuropsychological knowledge in an accessible manner while maintaining scientific accuracy.
