Nergiz Kavak

Nergiz Kavak is a senior student in the Psychology (English) program at Istanbul Gelişim University. She is currently doing an internship at İZEV Foundation, working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Previously, she provided psychosocial support and stress management interventions to people of all ages and genders in rural areas of Bitlis through World Human Relief. She also has experience working with individuals diagnosed with psychiatric disorders at a Community Mental Health Center. She has received training on MMPI-2, Beck Inventories, the Geriatric Depression Scale, and the Geriatric Anxiety Inventory. Closely following innovations in psychology, Kavak combines her field experiences with academic research in her writings.
