Mustafa Burak Arabacı

I graduated from the Guidance and Psychological Counseling program at Ege University in 2016. During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge I acquired through a six-month internship at the Gaziemir Municipality Women's Counseling Center. Following this, I completed my military service as a reserve officer, providing psychological counseling in Nusaybin, Mardin. Throughout my professional career, I have worked as a psychological counselor, family counselor, and school counselor in private family counseling centers, preschools, and non-governmental organizations. These experiences allowed me to work with diverse age groups and address a wide range of needs. I have undergone extensive training and supervision in the areas of Family Counseling, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Masterson-Based Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Between 2021 and 2024, I completed the “Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy of Disorders of the Self” program organized by the International Masterson Institute (New York), during which I conducted my supervisions in English. Currently, I provide individual psychological counseling/psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children, as well as family counseling and play therapy. I offer these services in Turkish, English. My therapeutic work is fundamentally rooted in psychoanalytic theories, I place great value on developing a deep and reflective approach, enriched by philosophical thinking. I am currently pursuing master’s degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling at İzmir Democracy University. I also a member of the Turkish Counseling and Guidance Association (Türk PDR Derneği). Since 2022, I have been offering voluntary psychological counseling support to domestic violence survivors through the YAŞAMHAK project run by the association.
