Birce Yalçın

Birce Yalçın is an undergraduate student in the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, Türkiye. She previously participated in an exchange student program at the University of Education Weingarten in Germany. Her academic interests include psychological counseling, mental health, child and adolescent development, addiction, and psychological well-being. She has gained practical experience through her internship at Anka Psychology and Children's Workshop and her volunteer work as an undergraduate psychological counselor in an inclusive development project supporting individuals with disabilities. She serves as a University Student Representative and Executive Board Member of the Turkish Psychological Counseling and Guidance Student Council (PDOK). She has also been involved in youth-focused addiction research and quantitative research training. Through her academic journey and writing, she aims to contribute to mental health awareness, share evidence-informed psychological knowledge, and make psychological concepts more accessible to a wider audience.
