Yunus Emre Koçhan
Yunus Emre has completed his undergraduate degree in Psychological Counseling and Guidance and is currently pursuing his specialist training in the same field at Yıldız Technical University. In his theoretical orientation, he primarily draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while also integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, and trauma-focused intervention models. He approaches human behavior from a holistic perspective, emphasizing the interaction between cognitive processes, emotional regulation mechanisms, and interpersonal patterns. His academic interests include cognitive behavioral therapy, psychological counseling with children and adolescents, trauma and attachment processes, psychological resilience, and self-compassion–based interventions. Throughout his education and practical training, he has conducted individual counseling sessions and gained experience in administering psychological assessment tools, developing case formulations, and designing structured psychoeducational programs.
