Elif Acay Deveci

Elif Acay Deveci completed her undergraduate education in Psychology (in English) at Marmara University. As a psychologist and writer, she has experience in psychotherapy, play therapy, and academic research. Initially focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with adults, Acay later expanded her work to include children, using the Child-Centered Play Therapy approach. She also works with children aged 10 and above, as well as adolescents, applying techniques from the CBT framework. Dedicated to academic development, Acay consistently engages in literature reviews and writes articles in the field of psychology for digital platforms. Since her undergraduate years, she has authored numerous articles and is committed to making psychology more widely known and accessible. With the aim of guiding those who seek personal and professional growth through psychological insight, she has recently joined Psychology Times and will continue contributing her writings to the platform.
