Eylül Aleyna Koç
Eylül Aleyna Koç has an interdisciplinary academic background in sociology and psychology. She completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology at KTO Karatay University with high honors and is currently in her fourth year of undergraduate studies in Psychology. To further deepen her academic work, she has begun a thesis-based Master’s program in the Department of Sociology at KTO Karatay University. During her education, she conducted mentorship work for children affected by the 2023 earthquake and strengthened her professional experience by participating in various workshops and applied trainings organized by psychologists. She presented an oral paper at the 11th Sociology Congress, and her work was published in the congress proceedings. Her academic interests, shaped at the intersection of sociology and psychology, focus on understanding the multilayered relationships between the individual, society, and mental health. After completing her psychology degree, she aims to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and work particularly with children. Believing that psychology is a fundamental science that addresses not only individual problems but also collective well-being, Koç advocates that strengthening mental health opens the door to healthier and more meaningful lives.
