Esra Nur Yurtkuran

I am a fourth-year student in the Department of Psychology (English) at İstanbul Rumeli University. Since 2024, I have been working as a trainee psychologist at Adel Counseling Center. During this internship, I have not only engaged in observation but have also had the opportunity to deepen my professional perspective through case discussions, supervision processes, and various trainings. For the past two years, I have been actively involved in the executive team of my university’s Psychology Club, taking part in academic events and psychology-based projects. In addition, I have participated in clinical internship programs and received training in sports psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), sex therapy, and EMDR therapy. Alongside these experiences, I continue to develop myself and gain new perspectives through various certification programs. As a psychology student who is open to self-discovery and continuous learning, I aim to specialize in clinical psychology in the future and to consistently advance my professional journey through trainings in different therapeutic approaches and practices. In my writings for Psychology Times, I plan to address diverse psychological topics and produce content that is both informative and engaging for readers.
