  • Parietal Lobe: This lobe is influential in spatial perception and motor skills, playing a significant role in individuals’ interactions with their environments. Damage, especially in older adults, can severely affect daily living activities.  
  • Temporal Lobe: Critical for memory and language, changes in the temporal lobe resulting from the progression of Alzheimer’s disease can lead to memory loss.  
  • Occipital Lobe: Directly connected to visual information processing and perception, damage to the occipital lobe can result in visual processing disorders and vision loss.

Neurocellular disruptions in the brain can lead to unpredictable behavioral and cognitive changes. Neuropsychology aims to examine these effects to enhance individuals’ quality of life.
