Neslişah Sungur

Neslişah Sungur, by virtue of her dual citizenship (Turkish-American), began her education in international schools and continued her academic journey across three continents, studying alongside students from diverse cultural backgrounds. These experiences helped her develop an open-minded and intercultural perspective. After graduating from the American Collegiate Institute (ACI) in İzmir, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sabancı University. She then completed a Foundation degree in Psychotherapy and Counseling in London. Upon returning to Istanbul, she pursued and completed her Master’s degree in Sport and Health Psychology with honors, and also became a certified Family Counselor. Sungur works with athletes and their families, while also providing individual and couple counseling in various fields. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy within a holistic framework, offering services in both Turkish and English, either online or at her office in İzmir. Her primary focus lies in delivering practical guidance on mental toughness and mindfulness, supporting both professional athletes and the wider public through her insightful articles and educational work.
